Analisis Keluhan Dermatitis Kontak Iritan Pada Pedagang Ikan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan

Abstract

ontact dermatitis is skin inflammation caused by direct contact with substances that cause inflammatory or allergic reactions. Based on initial observations, it was found that out of 10 fish traders there were 8 fish traders who had complaints of irritant contact dermatitis on the hands and 3 fish traders who had complaints of irritant contact dermatitis on the feet, Purpose: To determine the factors associated with irritant contact dermatitis complaints in fish traders at Hamadi Fishing Port, Methods: The type of research used in this study is observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 45 fish traders who were taken with purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted at Hamadi Fishing Port in September 2023. Data were obtained using questionnaires and observation sheets, which were then analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test, Result: The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between personal hygiene (p-value 0.331 kurang lebih 0.05), use of personal protective equipment (p-value 0.910 > 0.05), and working period (p-value 1.000 kurang lebih 0.05), Conclusion: There is no relationship between personal hygiene factors, the use of personal protective equipment, and working periods with irritant contact dermatitis complaints in fish traders at Hamadi Fishing Port.
