Abstract
Acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine by the community will have a good impact on building community resilience. The benefits of vaccination for the human body include boosting the immune system, lowering the chance of infection, reducing the severity of the virus's effects, and attaining herd immunity, Purpose: of this study was to determine the acceptability of the COVID-19 vaccine among FKM students at Cenderawasih University in 2022. Methods: The method applied in this study was descriptive with quantitative research. The population of this study were 2408 students, which was selected using probability sampling with a total of 269 samples. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and analyzed with the Chi-Square test. The data is presented in the form of a pie chart. Result: respondents were mainly between the ages of 18 and 34.6%, 68.8% of whom were female, 72.6% of whom identified as Christian Protestant, 54.6% of whom resided with their parents, and 70.6% of whom received Covid-19 vaccinations at puskesmas. Additionally, 77.3% of respondents indicated that they would be willing to receive Covid-19 vaccinations. Conclusion: not all students have decided that the Covid-19 vaccine is acceptable.
